About the Role Dominion Steel is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across construction operations. This role will drive production performance, oversee key programs, and partner closely with plant leadership, engineering, and supply chain teams.
This is a high-impact position focused on plant operations, continuous improvement, and program execution within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple manufacturing and operations programs in the construction business from planning through execution
- Partner with plant operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure on-time production and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence)
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Manage program timelines, budgets, and performance metrics
- Identify risks within production, supply chain, and operations and implement mitigation plans
- Support capital projects, including equipment installation and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) and company policies
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership
Program Management, Project Management, or Operations Management Background in construction
, steel industry. Experience with:
Cross-functional program leadership Working knowledge of
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Experience with
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
steel, metals, or metal fabrication PMP certification or similar
Engineering or operations-related degree
Experience leading
