Position Description
- Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.
Principal Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties. Determines repair procedures and implements those repairs that will be effective in preventing reoccurrence.
- Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.
- Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
- Installs, moves, and aligns new and existing equipment.
- Sets up and operates various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
- Completes related machine repair records, performs associated handling duties, and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Performs all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.

Direct Hire: This is a Direct hire role and Pay rate is $36/hr. | Max pay rate is $38/hr. depending on the candidate experience and interview.
Qualifications
- Education: Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
- Months of experience specific to this position (explain) 48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
- A Maintenance Technician “A” level must be proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLC’s and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

- Ability to troubleshoot die casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion equipment malfunctions.
- Ability to navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix software for equipment troubleshooting.
- Technical or vocational education, certificate program, or college coursework related to maintenance, industrial technology, or a similar field.
