About the role

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing all electrical and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to CNC Lathes and Warm Forge Presses.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, components, and equipment according to electrical codes and blueprints Diagnosing electrical malfunctions, repairing, or replacing faulty parts, and ensuring equipment operates correctly
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of machinery and electrical systems
  • Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacement
  • Working with other technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.

Additional Information

  • For Maintenance Technician (On the side note, we are seeking a technician that is strong on the electrical side, but still open to reviewing those that may be more mechanical)
  • The pay rate ranges between $26 to $30/hr., so please submit resumes based on the candidate’s experience. Avoid submitting at the maximum bill rate.

Additional Information

  • Shift or schedule requirements: 2nd shift - Monday – Friday approximately 3:00 PM–11:30 PM - Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime desired.
  • Drug screen and background check required.
  • Candidates with mechanical backgrounds may be considered if highly skilled with CNC equipment. Facilities maintenance backgrounds are not being sought.

Qualifications

  • Education: HS or GED

  • Top 3 Requirements / Skills Needed as per Hiring Manager:- Diagnosing electrical malfunctions, repairing, or replacing faulty parts, and ensuring equipment operates correctly production orientated environment, with emphasis on repair/troubleshooting

  • CNC machines and mechanical presses is preferred.

  • Strong electrical & mechanical analytical problem-solving ability.

  • Strong preference for:- Electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • CNC machine troubleshooting/repair experience.

  • Mechanical-only candidates may still be considered if highly skilled with CNC equipment.

  • Not seeking facilities maintenance backgrounds.

Must-haves

REQUIREMENTS

  • Work experience in a similar role ideally in production orientated environment, with emphasis on repair/troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and various industrial control systems Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication and basic computer skills.
  • Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime is desired.

Must Have

  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar maintenance role, particularly in a production-oriented environment.
  • CNC machine troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical presses.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical analytical problem-solving ability.
