Mechanic 2 – Weekend Nights

• This position is located on-site in Ripon, WI.
• Weekend Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM (3 nights/12-hour shifts)
• Compensation: Hourly Rate: $30.97/hr - $34.53/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
• Troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment
• Perform welding as needed to support maintenance and repair activities
• Prepare new machines for operation following established protocols and procedures
• Conduct regular technical testing on machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collect and analyze data on machine operation to identify trends and recommend actions to reduce machine downtime
• Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Demonstrate expert-level understanding of production machines and equipment

Shift / Schedule Weekend Nights — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM (3 nights/12-hour shifts)

Must Have:- Two-year Associate degree plus 2 to 4 years of relevant electromechanical work experience

• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work orders into a CMMS
• Expert-level ability to troubleshoot and service motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machinery
• Ability to read and work from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications to repair and maintain machinery
• Welding experience sufficient to support maintenance and repair activities

• Shift / Schedule: Weekend Nights — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM (3 nights/12-hour shifts)
• Compensation: $30.97/hr - $34.53/hr, commensurate with experience; $3.25/hour shift differential

• Preferred Two-year Associate degree and 2 to 4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
