Electro Mechanical Technician 2 - 2nd Shift

• Standard Work Hours: 2nd Shift M-Th 3pm-1am
• Compensation - Hourly Rate: $36.79/hr to $41.03/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring

Responsibilities

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

• Compensation: $36.79–$41.03/hour, commensurate with experience; $3.25/hour shift differential; $5,000 sign-on bonus upon successful hiring

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

Our jobs require

• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Must Have

• Two-year Associate degree plus 2–4 years of relevant electromechanical work experience
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work orders into a CMMS
• Ability to troubleshoot, design, and test electrical, PLC, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to install and troubleshoot controls on machines and equipment
• Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems, with ability to perform basic mechanical repairs
